Translated from the Original Will at the Quebec Archives

On this seventeenth day of March one thousand nine hundred and ten, before me Cyrille Renaud, Public Notary, residing in the Parish of St. Ambroise of Jeune Lorette, undersigned, personally appeared Patrick Gough, Farmer, residing in the Parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier, who requested me the said Notary to write down and receive his last will and testament which he has declared in manner following:

I give and bequeath to my wife Julia Adams all my moveable and immoveable properties whatsoever wherever the same may be found and to whatever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said wife my universal legatee and the Executrix of this last will and I revoke all wills I may have heretofore made.

Done and passed at Valcartier in the residence of the said Testator under Notarial Number four thousand six hundred and [four]. After the reading of the said will to the said Testator by the Notary in presence of Robert Penny and Ernest Penny, both farmers of Valcartier, the Testator, the Notary and witnesses have signed in the presence of each other.
