On this twenty second day of May. one thousand nine hundred, before me Cyrille Renaud, Public Notary, residing in the Parish of St. Ambroise of Jeune Lorette, undersigned, and Henri Lefebvre, Sawer, and Johnny Gros Louis, Labourer, both residing in the Parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier witnesses requested for the effects of these presents personally appeared Miss Isabella Jack, Teacher, residing in the Parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier, which hath requested us the said Notary to write down and receive in due form of law her last will and testament which she has declared in manner and form following, that is to say:

1º I most willingly resign my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator in the humble hope that he will receive it to his favor through the sale merits and intercession of Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

2º I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my testamentary executor as soon as possible after my death.

3º I give and bequeath to my father and mother all sum of money due to me by Thomas McKee according to his note bearing the date of 28th September 1898.

4º I give and bequeath to my sister Hannah Jack, wife of William McCartney, the sum of seventy five dollars and the sum of one hundred dollars and seventy five dollars to Marion Jack, my sister, according to the note in my favor signed by William Jack and bearing the date of 6th June 1896.

5º I nominate, constitute and appoint my father Charles Jack as Executor of this my will and testament.

6º I revoke all wills and testament I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament.

Done and passed at St. Gabriel of Valcartier under Notarial Number seventeen hundred and eighty

. And after the reading of the present testament by the Notary to the Testatrix in presence of witnesses aforesaid the Testatrix, the Notary and the witnesses have signed in the presence of each other.
