On this twenty ninth day of October one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, before me Cyrille Renaud, Public Notary, residing at Loretteville, undersigned, personally came and appeared Mrs. Hannah Neil, wife of William Crawford, Senior, Farmer, residing in the parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier, who being of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding hath requested me the said Notary and witnesses to write down and receive in due form of law her last will and testament which she has declared in manner and form following, that is to say:
1º I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as possible after my death.
2º I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Crawford all my moveable and immoveable properties wherever the same may be found and to whatsoever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said son Crawford my universal legatee.
3º I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Thomas Crawford as Executor of this my will and testament.
4º I revoke all will and testament I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament.
Done and passed at Loretteville under notarial number six thousand seven hundred and nine. After the reading of the present will by the Notary to the Testatrix in presence of Jules Couture, Clerk of the Bank, and Jacques Verret, Joiner, both of Loretteville, witnesses, the Testatrix, the Notary and witnesses have signed in the presence of each other.

Notes by Patricia Balkcom: Hannah died almost 20 years later on December 13, 1935 at the reported age of 78 years. There is at least one later will (29 September 1919).
