On this twenty ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, before me Cyrille Renaud, Notary, residing at Loretteville, undersigned, personally appeared, Mistress Hannah Neil, wife of William Crawford, of the Parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier, Senior, Farmer, who being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding hath requested me the said Notary to write down and receive in due form of law her last will and testament which she has made in manner and form following:

1º I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as possible after my death.

2º  I give and bequeath to my husband William Crawford all my moveable and immoveable properties wherever the same may be found and to whatever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said husband my universal legatee.

3º I nominate and appoint my said husband my universal legatee and the Executor of this my will and testament and I revoke all will and testament that I may have heretofore made.

Done and passed at Loretteville under notarial number eight thousand one hundred and seven.

After the reading of the present will by the Notary to the said Hannah Neil in the presence of Ernest Pageau, Clerk of the Bank, and Olinat Auclair, Joiner, of Loretteville, the said Hannah Neil, the Notary and the witnesses have signed in the presence of each other.

Notes by Patricia Balkcom:  Hannah died on December 13, 1935 at the reported age of 78 years.  Her husband predeceased her in 1922 so it is possible that there is a later will.
