Secondly, I desire that all my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as possible after my death. Thirdly, I give and bequeath to the St. Bridget Asylum the sum of fifty dollars and to the Society St. Vincent de Paul of St. Patrick the sum of fifty dollars. Fourthly, I give and bequeath to my son the Rev. Hugh McGratty, Priest of St. Gabriel of Valcartier the remainder of all my moveable and immoveable properties wherever the same may be found and to whatever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said son my universal legatee. Fifthly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Hugh McGratty as Executor of this my will and testament. Sixthly, I revoke all will and testament and codicils I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament. The present will was declared by the said Testator to the said Notary in the presence of the said witnesses and read to the Testator, by said Notary in presence of said witnesses, who declared to understand it fully and persist[ed] therein. Done and passed at St. gabriel under notarial number sixteen hundred and fifty.
