On this twenty ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, before me Cyrille Renaud Public Notary residing in the parish of St. Ambroise of Jeune Lorette undersigned, personally appeared Mary O'Connor, wife of Michael Murphy, Farmer, residing in the Parish of St. Gabriel who being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding hath requested me the said Notary to write down and receive in due form of law her last will and testament which she has declared in manner and form following, that is to say:
1º I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid as soon as possible after my death.
2º I desire that my share in the payments due by Michael Murphy upon the land sold to him be divided between my three daughters by equal share, Anna Murphy, Mary Murphy, and Bridget Murphy.
3º I desire that my share on the money in the bank deposited by my husband be divided by equal share between my three sons, Thomas, Michael & James Murphy.
4º I desire that the rest of my properties be divided between my two sons, Michael & Thomas Murphy.
5º I nominate and appoint my son Thomas Murphy as Executor of this my will and testament.
6º I revoke all will and testament I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament.
Done and passed at St. Ambroise in the office of the undersigned Notary under the number three thousand six hundred and sixty six. And after the reading of said will to the Testatrix by the Notary in presence of Pierre Abias Savard, Merchant, and François Beaulieu, Trader, both of the Parish of St. Ambroise the Testatrix having declared her inability to sign her name has made her mark in presence of the Notary and witnesses. And the Notary and witnesses have signed in the presence of Testarix and in the presence of each other.
One marginal note is good.
