That for a number of years I have been the book keeper for my said father and had charge of all his papers and books up to the time of his death. 3. That I made diligent and careful search in all places where the deceased usually kept his papers and in his depositories in order to ascertain whether the deceased had left any Will but I have been able to discover any will, codicil or testamentary papers and I believe that the deceased died without having left any Will, codicil or Testamentary papers whatsoever. 4. That since the death of the deceased I have taken stock of all the assets belonging to the estate and find that they are less than the labilities so that the estate will not pay the conditions in full and there will be nothing for any of the heirs of the deceased. Jane Atkins b. 1863, d. 1937 | |
Marriage* | 18 April 1901 | Jane Atkins; Ste-Patrice Catholic Church, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Quebec, Canada; "...between Willliam Henry Steveson (sic) a protestant of this city, son of age of (left blank in record) on the one part; and Jane Atkins of this parish, widow of the late William Davidson (left blank) of Quebec on the other part; ...in the presence of Patrick Duffy and Celina Collins..." (My note: I believe there is an error in this church record and that Jane Atkins, was the widow of Patrick Flynn. Elizabeth Atkins was the widow of William Davidson. Celina Collins is the daughter of Michael Collins who married Elizabeth Atkins. "1 Witness: Mary Celina Collins |
