He was a widower and was living at 228 Staughton Street in the 9th Ward and was a laborer. The informant was a Mrs. John Smelty (his daughter - should be Schmeltz) of Ishpeming. It states that his parents were Patrick (should be Thomas) Cassin and Mary (should be Bridget) O'Neill.13
