Having this day by deed of gift passed before Phi. Huot and colleague, notaries public at Quebec given by way of donation unto my son in law Nicholas Abraham and Mary Ann Crawford, his wife, a certain lot of land and premises thereon described as lot No. Six of the Second Concession, Northwest River aux Pins, together with all and every the moveable effects and furniture which I now possess or may die possessed of and being desirous that the said donation do take effect and be fully and entirely executed according to it tenor and form, I hereby ratify and confirm the said donation and order that the same be fully & entirely executed notwithstanding any defect of plan, want of insinuation or registration that might so happen or be required by the law of this province. And further to secure the execution of the said donation, I hereby bequeath unto the said Nicholas Abraham and Mary Ann Crawford, the said lot of land in the said donation described and all such moveable property as nay belong to me at the time of my decease, instituting the said Nicholas Abraham and Mary Ann Crawford my residuary legatees. And I appoint them executors of this my last will and testament, revoking all former wills and codicils at any time heretofore by me made and declaring the present to be my only will and testament. I declare that I give nothing to my other children, they having been already provided by me to the amount of what I consider them to be entitled in my estate. It was thus made, published, dictated, and named fait dicté et nommé unto us the said notaries by the said William Crawford, testator, and afterwards, the present his will and testament having been twice duly read over to the said William Crawford, testator, lu et relu au long, by one of us the said notaries in the presence of the other subscribing notaries, he the said William Crawford, testator, declared that he had perfectly understood the same and persisted in the contents thereof. Done and passed at Quebec in the office of Louis Panet one of the said Notaries on the day and year above written, under number fourteen thousand three hundred and ninety three.
