Last Will of Lawrence Corrigan

On this day the third day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand nine hundred and twenty one, Before me Cyrille Renauld, notary, residing at Loretteville, undersigned, personally appeared Lawrence Corrigan, farmer, residing at Valcartier who being of sound mind, memory and understanding hath requested me the said notary to write down and received in lue <sic> for his last will and testament which he has declared in manner and form following:  

1.-I desire that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my executor hereinafter named as soon as possible after my death.

2.-After my death and the death of my wife all the money due my son Albert Corrigan  by deed of sale before the undersigned notary shall belong to the said Albert Corrigan  which is by these presents institute my legatee.

3.- I nominate my said son my testamentary executor but my said wife, during her life, after my death, shall have the right to claim all sum of money that she shall want for her support.

                   DONE AND PASSED  at Loretteville under notarial number eight thousand six hundred and eighty one.  After the reading of the said will to the said testator, the said notary in presence of John Renaud, residing at  __________.  Lawrence and Arsene Verret de St. Ambroise farmer the testator, the notary, and witnesses have signed in the presence of each others.
