On the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven, before me Cyrille Renaud Public Notary residing in the parish of St. Ambroise of Jeune Lorette, personally appeared Jannet McBain, wife of William James Billing, Farmer, residing in the Parish of St. Gabriel who being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding hath requested me, the said Notary and witnesses, to write down and receive in due form of law her last will and testament which she has declared in manner and form following, that is to say:

1º I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid as soon as possible after my death.

2º I give and bequeath to my husband William James Billing, all my moveable and immoveable properties wherever the same may be found and to whatever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said husband my universal legatee, to the charge by my said wife to pay to each of my daughters Rhoda Emiliy Billing & Clara Gertrude Billing the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars by instalments of fifty dollars to each every year after my death until the full payment of the said sum.

3º I nominate, constitute and appoint my said husband as Executor of this my will and testament.

4º I revoke all will and testament I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament.

Done and passed at St. Ambroise under Notarial Number three thousand seven hundred and seventeen. After the reading of the present will to the Testatrix by the Notary in presence of Joseph Edgar Leduc, Accountant, and Pierre J.A. Savard, both residing in the Parish of St. Ambroise, the Testatrix, the Notary and witnesses have signed in the presence of each other.
