On the twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine, at the request of George Richardson of the Parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier in the County of Quebec, Farmer, I the undersigned Public Notary duly commissioned and sworn and residing at the City of Quebec in the Province of Quebec and in my office in the Lower Town of the City of Quebec and in the presence of Frederick W. Andrews at the Parish of St. Sauveur near the City of Quebec, Esquire, Advocate, and John Redmond of the City of Quebec, Clerk, witnesses expressly requested to be present did write down his last will and testament which he named as follows:

I will and direct that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible after my decease.

I give and bequeath unto my children issue of my marriage with Margaret Calback all my property moveable and immoveable, real and personal, debts, obligations, money and wearing apparel which I may die possessed of without any exception to have and hold the same after my decease in full and absolute property in equal shares, share and share alike.

And I hereby revoke all former wills and codicils at any time heretofore by me made and declaring the present to be my only true last will and testament.

It was thus made and named by the said Testator unto me the said Notary in presence of the said witnesses the present last will and testament having been read to the said testator, he declared to have perfectly heard and understood the same declaring it contained entirely his last will and testament.

Done and executed at the said City of Quebec on the day and year first above written and recorded in the office of Charles H. Andrews, the undersigned Notary, under the number two thousand five hundred and ninety eight, the said Testator having signed these presents first duly read.
