It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful and devoted father, brother and uncle on September 11, 2013 at the age of 88.

Born in Quebec City, Colin was the eldest child and son of Thomas O'Neill and Alberta Collin. He joins his beloved wife Marie-Paule (Fortin), brother Eddie and sister Rita. Colin is survived by his loving son André, his sister Mary Pullen (O'Neill) and many nieces and nephews.

Colin was a survivor of childhood Polio who became one of the most talented and accomplished percussionists in Montreal. Colin was a strong and courageous man who will be deeply missed by all.

He leaves to mourn, his children: Peggy (Jean-Guy Drolet), Ellen, Ann (Marie-Claude Leduc), Jane, Jimmy (Linda Neal) and Tom (Josiane Binette); his grandchildren: Jessica, Jason, Michael, Kathleen, Jillian, the late Andrew, Kate-Lyne, Steven, Veronica, Emilien and Marellie; his brothers and sisters: Melita (late John Maher), late Helena (late Arthur Booth), late Marie Drolet (late Charles Maranda); his brothers- and sisters-in-law: late Alphonse, late Irene (late Marie-Jeanne Plamondon), late Albert (late Rita Potvin), late Simone, late Emanuelle, late Raymond, Charlotte (late Yvon Morneau), Thérèse (Jean-Guy Guérard), Jean-Marie (Bernadette Prince), Paul-Émile (Gemma), Bernadette (late Gilles Bélanger), as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the personnel of the Centre hospitalier Paul-Gilbert (Belvédère Unit), of the Albatros de Lévis as well as the Résidence Étienne-Simard for their excellent care and attention.
